Description
English: Kylemore Abbey, Conamara. Kylemore Abbey was built by a businessman from England in the middle of the 19th. century. It became an abbey when nuns fled from Ypres in Belgium and settled here during WWI. It is now one of Ireland's most exclusive girls' boarding schools run by the Benedictine Sisters.
