| Description |
Français : Cette petite rue à l'arrière du palais du Rhin comprend de nombreux bâtiments de bonnes factures du fait de sa proximité justement avec l'ancien palais impérial.
Elle comporte un ancien casino-mess, une annexe du collège Foch voisin, l'ancienne résidence privée du Gouverneur Général, les anciennes écuries impérial ainsi qu'un immeuble d'angle art nouveau reconnaissable par sa coupole/tourelle d'angle peu commune. La rue a depuis pris le nom d'un ancien général (Aubert Frère) qui a été gouverneur de la ville à la veille de la seconde guerre mondiale puis pris la direction de l'Organisation de résistance de l'Armée (ORA) et fut pris par la Gestapo en juin 43. Il fut alors mis dans un train et est décédé quelque temps après dans un camp de concentration pas très loin d'ici : le Struthof.
