Description
Français : Armentières — Le nouveau Pont* de Nieppe entre Armentières et le quartier du Pont-de-Nieppe, à Nieppe permettant de traverser la Lys.
Ce pont remplace un pont provisoire construit après la destruction du pont en pierre** durant Première Guerre Mondiale et lors du retrait des forces britanniques en avril 1918.
À gauche au dernier plan, les bâtiments de la blanchisserie détruits vers 2012-2014 (?).
À droite après un terrain vide occupé avant la Grande Guerre par les Ets. Charles Jeanson, les locaux de la Brasserie Cartigny (Sainte Marie au XIXe siècle), où se trouve actuellement une concession automobile, occupant également les terrains des Ets précités.
