English: My picture shows a four-spotted chaser: Libellula quadrimaculata. During a montainous trip, I could take this picture, thanks to the coolness of the morning and the fog which was surrounding us. This one is a female, and, with this weather, it can avoid the males which are, normally, very aggressive as with the other males and dragonflies as with the females, often mistreated, the reason why females dragonflies sometimes pretend to be dead to avoid males.
Français : Ma photographie met en scène une libellule à quatre tâches: Libellula quadrimaculata. Pendant une sortie en montagne, j'ai pu prendre cette photo, grâce à la fraîcheur du matin et l'épais brouillard autour de nous. Celle-là est une femelle, et, grâce à la météo, elle va pouvoir éviter les mâles qui sont, normalement, très agressif, autant avec les autres mâles et les autres libellules, qu'avec les femelles, souvent malmenées; c'est notamment la raison pour laquelle les femelles libellules font parfois semblant d'être mortes pour éviter les mâles.
