Deutsch: Vom Ostende in Richtung Friedrichstraße, der automatische Streckenblock im Tunnel ist trotz der eStw-Ausrüstung kein Zentralblock, die Blocksignale zeigen in Grundstellung einen Fahrtbegriff. Die Bauart der Signalgeber entspricht den auch bei der U5 verwendeten. Bei beiden Vorhaben lieferte Siemens die Sicherungstechnik. Die Streckenanschläge sind ausgebaut, die Tunnelstrecke wurde auf ZBS umgestellt. Wegen des Platzmangels war dafür eine Vollsperrung erforderlich. English: From the east end in the direction of Friedrichstraße, the automatic track block in the tunnel is not a central block despite the eStw equipment, the block signals show a travel term in the home position. The design of the signal heads corresponds to those also used on the U5. Siemens supplied the safety technology for both projects.
