Description
Deutsch: Am Nordostende der Bahnsteighalle, das Gleis wird bei Realisierung der bestehenden Planung das Richtungsgleis Weißensee–Adenauerplatz. Seit der Verlängerung der Linie U5 ist es auch sicherungstechnisch für Zugfahrten vom und zum Hauptbahnhof nutzbar. Hinter der Abschlussmauer folgt ein Tunnelstutzen, der im zweiten Weltkrieg als Luftschutzbunker genutzt wurde. 1968 wurde er mit einer Schildempfangskammer versehen, seitdem gab es keine weiteren Bauarbeiten.
Weißensee wird allerdings vergleichsweise gut durch das Straßenbahnnetz erschlossen.
