Deutsch: Bergwärts vom Südkopf des Bahnhofes Leysin-Village, die Steinbogenbrücke Leysin liegt nicht nur in einem engen Bogen, sondern zusätzlich in der Maximalneigung von 230 ‰.
Wird die geplante Streckenverlegung zur Talstation der Seilbahnen uf die Berneuse und den Tête d’Aï realisiert, dann soll der Tunnel im Bereich der zum Aufnahmezeitpunkt existierenden Bahnsteige beginnen. Die Strecke zum derzeitigen Endpunkt Leysin-Grand-Hôtel mit der markanten Bogenbrücke soll in diesem Zusammenhang aufgegeben werden.
