Description
Nederlands: LNG-tankstation Schepersvenweg 7, Berkel-Enschot, boil-off. Als er warmte in de LNG-tank is gekomen, loopt de druk op. Er wordt dan via overdrukventielen wat gas geloosd, dit is boil-off-gas (BOG). Dit is koud en slaat als damp neer. Op een aantal foto's in deze serie zijn ijspegels aan leidingen te zien, terwijl de atmosferische temperatuur ongeveer 10°C was.
English: LNG-station Schepersvenweg 7, Berkel-Enschot, boil-off. When warmth enters the LNG tank the pressure goes up. Some gas is let off, known as boil-off-gas (BOG). This gas is very cold and forms fog near the ground. Some photos in this series show icicles at the tubes, while atmospheric temperature was aroudn 10°C.
