Summary edit

Description A U.S. Marine Corps LVT(A)-1, circa 1944. Differing from earlier “water buffaloes” in its turret superstructure, the LVT(A)-1 was armed with a 37 mm gun and two 12.7 mm machine guns. The lower silhouette should make it a more difficult target to hit.
