Este parque nacional está localizado en el extremo Oeste del Istmo de Panamá.

Todos los bosques que contiene son bosques montanos o conocidos popularmente como bosques nubosos.
English: Volcan Baru National Park is located in the extreme West of Panama Isthmus, and it is a core zone of La Amistad Panama Biosphere Reserve. This national park contains mainly cloudy forest.
