Description
Français : Construite entre 1909 et 1914 par l'architecte Eliel Saarinen dans une période de grande tension avec la Russie, la gare centrale d'Helsinki est un monument majeur de l'art nouveau finlandais. Nulle part ailleurs en Europe, l'art nouveau n'a autant été l'expression d'un sentiment national et n'a porté une telle volonté de réforme.
