Description

Le centre-ville historique de Potsdam

L'église St-Nicolas (Nikolaikirche) à gauche a été conçue par Karl Friedrich Schinkel puis par Friedrich August Stüler (1830-1850). Le dôme a été élevé par Ludwig Persius entre 1843 et 1850. À droite, l'ancien hôtel de ville (Altes Rathaus) surmonté d'une statue dorée d'Atlas. Ces bâtiments ont été détruits lors des bombardements anglais de 1945, occupés par les soviétiques puis reconstruits après guerre.
