Description
English: Wood engraving of the Ladies' Union Aid Society of the Methodist Episcopal Church in the City of New York, for the benefit of aged and infirm members, on 42nd Street near Eighth Avenue. The society was formed in 1850 and incorporated in 1851. All the Methodist Episcopal churches of the city were represented on the Board of Managers.
