English: De to brennende oljetanker lå på Laksa petroleumsanlegg ved Son. Ble satt i brann ved en sabotasjeaksjon foretatt av mannskaper fra Milorg. D 111.1 og D 111.3 den 18. august 1944 kl. 02.45. Aksjonen var ledd i en landsomfattende plan for destruksjon av olje og bensin. Hver av de to tanker kunne romme ca. 15.000 tonn. Den ene tanken inneholdt ved sprengningen ca. 2.000 solarolje og den andre ca. 1.500 tonn "foul" olje (brendselsolje). Aksjonen var 100% vellykket. |
