Summary edit

Description
English: Lancelot's Lake. This is 536316 at Belhus Park. This serpentine lake was created by Lancelot "Capability" Brown in the 18th Century. Unfortunately it is now bisected by the M25. Ice was collected from this pond in winter and stored in an Ice House for use in summer, I wouldn't fancy having ice from this pond anywhere near food these days! You can see the remains of the icehouse at 538603
