Deutsch: Der Gedenkstein stammt aus dem Jahr 1930 und wurde für den Forstrat Otto Lanz errichet. Er war von 1900 bis 1918 Hofjagdinspektor. Seine Aufgabe war die Vorbereitung und Durchführung der Hofjagden. Zu seinem Dienstbereich gehörte neben dem Schönbuch und anderen Waldungen auch der Hofjagddistrikt Stuttgart (Rot- und Schwarzwildpark, Fasanerie, u.a.).
