Description
English: Symbol of Hesse (lion) red (in vector format). By law it is not permitted to use an official coat of arms of an public authority in Germany by private persons or companies. So in 1981 the federal state government of Hesse decided to publish a sign which could be used by everyone to show their relation to the federal state of Hesse.
Deutsch: Hessenlöwe rot (im Vektorformat). Da es nach deutschem Recht privaten Personen und Unternehmen nicht erlaubt ist das Wappen einer deutschen Behörde zu verwenden entschied die hessische Landesregierung 1981 ein Logo zu veröffentlichen welches von jedermann genutzt werden konnte um die Verbundenheit zum Land Hessen auszudrücken.
