Description
English: "Bittelschießer Täle", small canyon in a massive limestone, cut by river Lauchert, Swabian Alb. The totally lignified canyon is a very valuable nature reserve (law-protected as a geotope).
Deutsch: Bittelschießer Täle der Lauchert W Bingen bei Sigmaringen, Schwäbische Alb.
Der nur ca. 400m lange, stark verholzte Durchbruch durch einen Massenkalkhügel (nach der Riß-Eiszeit, ca. 140Ma) ist mit seinen bis zu 30m hohen, steilen Felswänden ein markantes Geotop. In diesem kleinen Canyon erreicht die Sonne das Wasser nur sommertags in der Mittagszeit. 1998 wurde mit dem neuen, schmalen Holzsteg Fußgängern ein Seitenwechsel ermöglicht.
