(June 17, 2014) Sir Lawrence Freedman, professor of war studies at King’s College London, provides remarks to U.S. Naval War College (NWC) students and distinguished guests as a keynote speaker during the 65th annual Current Strategy Forum (CSF) at NWC in Newport, Rhode Island. As NWC’s capstone academic event, the two-day forum brings together distinguished guests and students to explore issues of strategic national importance. This year's theme, "American Grand Strategy and Sea Power: Challenges and Choices," will focus on challenging assumptions and undertaking a strategic assessment of the future.
