La grande nef du musée d'Orsay L'aménagement intérieur initial du musée fut réalisé par une équipe de scénographes et d'architectes sous la direction de Gae Aulenti. Avec Italo Rota, Piero Castiglioni (consultant pour l'éclairage), et Richard Peduzzi (pour la présentation de l'architecture), Gae Aulenti s'est attachée à créer une présentation unifiée à l'intérieur d'une grande diversité de volumes, notamment par l'homogénéité des matériaux utilisés : revêtement de pierre au sol et sur les murs.
