Summary edit

Description

Chasen's Restaurant, West Hollywood, June 1987.

Chasen's was a famous restaurant that opened in 1936. Celebrities such as Frank Sinatra, Elizabeth Taylor, Ronald Reagan, Groucho Marx, Bob Hope, James Stewart and every other Hollywood star of that era went there.

After suffering a decline in business Chasen's closed in April, 1995. It was mostly demolished in 1997, and a Bristol Farms grocery store was built in its place (at 9039 Beverly Boulevard).

As of 2013 the grocery store had kept several booths from the original Chasen's and some of the original paneling in its cafe area.
