English:
Former Neo-Baroque piarist? (other source Gothic with Neo-Baroque interior) chapel. Built on Dóm Square in 1738-1739 (other source in Matthias Corvinus period!!), highly damaged under Great Flood (1879). New chapel was built in 1881-1883 planned by Gusztáv Nendtvich. When remodelled Dóm Square in 1928, the building was moved to its current location under the direction of architect Béla Ligeti. Extended in 1928?. Since 1938 it has been operating as a Greek-Catholic parish church. - The chapel was renovated inside and outside in 1997. However, thebuilding has a problem with the subsidence of Lechner Square, which causes ever larger cracks to form near the plinth of the church. In the 2000s (before 2009), the gradual subsidence of the pavement in front of the entrance had to be compensated by a newly applied layer of about 5 cm. In the summer of 2023, when photo taken, it is again a construction site, the building was fenced off in a circle of about 20 m - Lechner Square, Belváros (Inner City) neighborough, Szeged, Csongrád-Csanád County, Hungary.

Neobarokk stílusú kápolna, melyet a Nagy Árvíz (1879) során erősen megrongálódott 1738-39-es építésű piarista? Szent Rozália-kápolna helyére emeltek Nendtvich Gusztáv tervei alapján 1881-83 között. A Dóm tér kialakításakor, 1928-ban, az épületet Ligeti Béla építészmérnök irányításával jelenlegi helyére szállították, s ott kibővítve építették fel. 1938 óta görög-katolikus plébániatemplomként működik. - A kápolnát 1997-ben külső-belső felújítási munkálatoknak vetették alá. Az épületnél problémát okoz azonban a Lechner tér süllyedése, melynek következtében a templom lábazata mellett egyre nagyobb repedések keletkeznek. A 2000-es években (2009 előtt) a bejárat előtti járda fokozatos süllyedését is kb. 5 cm-es újonnan rátett réteggel kellett már kompenzálni. 2023 nyarán ismét építési terület, az épület kb. 20 m-es körben el volt kerítve - Névtáblájának felirata Szent Rozália Plébániatempolom. Mellette kőtáblán: Görög Katolikus Egyházközség sz. liturgiák..Utrenye, Szentliturgia. - Szent Rozália-kápolna, néven műemlék azonosító: 11802, törzsszám: 11275 ÉS része a Védett terület, azonosító: -9362 együttesnek/parknak - Csongrád-Csanád vármegye, Szeged, Belváros városrész, Lechner téri park
