English: Ledbury signalbox and former goods yard From the footbridge, the original GWR signalbox survives, with some reasonably unobtrusive replacement double-glazing, plus two lower-quadrant semaphores (unusually, complete with finials) which have been in these positions for many years. The siding is a vestigial remnant of the station's goods depot which closed in the early 1960s. To the left of the left-hand platform, vegetation has completely overtaken the small coaling point for steam locomotives. |
