Summary edit

Description This is a rail diesel car, built by the Budd Company in August 1951. It looks like a passenger car, but it's self-propelling - it is a combination engine-and-passenger-car. It is on display at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania in the town of Strasburg. The unit was originally Lehigh Valley Railroad # 40 and was acquired by the Reading Railroad in December 1962 to become their unit # 9163. Both rosters numbers are still present today.
