Summary edit

Description
English: An old-fashioned brass letter box in one of the hallways between Vanderbilt Hall and the Main Concourse of Grand Central Terminal in Midtown Manhattan. A typical nostalgic representation of the former connections between the United States Post Office and the railroads within the United States, in this case New York Central Railroad and New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad, of course.
