Description The Library Company of Philadelphia completed this new building, named the Ridgway Building, in 1965, and opened it to the public in April, 1966. Street address: 1314 Locust Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107. Cornerstone dated 1965, marker, and original statue of Benjamin Franklin, formerly at 105 South 5th Street, where a reproduction now stands.
