Description
Deutsch: 6: Der sieche Amfortas ist in Verzweiflung. Vor dem Sarge, der seines Vaters Titurel Leiche birgt, beschwört er die Ritter, ihn, den sündigen Hüter des Grals, zu töten. Parsifal tritt hervor und streckt den Speer aus, mit dessen Spitze er Amfortas Seite berührt. Nur eine Waffe taugt: - »Die Wunde schliesst der Speer nur der sie schlug.« Die hohe Abstammung des reinen Thoren wird enthüllt. Der durch die Berührung mit dem Speer gesundete Amfortas und die Gralsritter huldigen ihm, während Kundry, die Reuige, mit dem Blick auf Parsifal entseelt zu Boden sinkt und der Gral in Glorienbeleuchtung erglüht.
