Deutsch: 2: Isabella: Kampftrompeten hallen - Weit ins Morgenrot !
Ort der Handlung ist Sizilien. Robert liebt die Prinzessin dieses Landes Isabella und wird von ihr wiedergeliebt. Bertram aber (ein Dämon aus der Hölle) wendet alle Mittel an, um das Liebesband zu trennen. Andererseits ist Alice, Roberts Milchschwester, ein Landmädchen aus der Normandie, ihm nachgereist, um ihm eine Botschaft vom Sterbelager seiner Mutter zu bringen. Sie vermittelt auch den Verkehr zwischen den Liebenden. - Isabella nimmt auf unserm Bilde Abschied von Robert, der sich zum Turnier begiebt.
