Deutsch: 5: Der König: »Führe den Namen Cid !«
Im Triumph ist Rodrigo zurückgekehrt. Das Heer des Angreifers ist geschlagen worden. Mehrere maurische Fürsten werden als Gefangene vorgeführt. Volk und Krieger jubeln dem Sieger zu. Der König verleiht ihm den Ehrennamen »Der Cid«. Da erinnert Ximene daran, daß das Haupt Rodrigos dem Henker verfallen sei.
