Deutsch: 3: Gluck führt seine Oper »Le Cinesi« vor Kaiser Karl im Lustsitz »Schlosshof« auf. In Rom, damals der eigentlichen Heimat und Bildungsstätte seiner Kunst, entfaltete sich Gluck's Genius, und bald schuf er die Oper »Telemaco«, die seinen Ruhm immer weiter ausbreitete. Sein Wanderleben setzte er vorläufig fort, und so finden wir ihn 1754, nachdem er bis nach Stockholm gekommen war, wieder in Wien. Hier hatte ihn Feldmarschall Prinz Joseph Friedrich an den Hof des Kaisers gebracht. Auf dem Lustsitze des Prinzen »Schlosshof« wurde sein Festspiel »Le Cinesi« in Anwesenheit des kaiserlichen Hofes aufgeführt. Dieses Werk wurde später auch im Hoftheater gegeben und Gluck wurde als Kapellmeister mit 2000 Gulden Gehalt fest angestellt. |
