Description
Deutsch: Darstellung am linken unteren Seitenflügel des Siebenhirter- oder Apostelaltars in der Kirche Lieseregg in der Gemeinde Seeboden in Kärnten / Österreich / Europäische Union. Gotischer Flügelaltar aus der Zeit um 1500 im südlichen Seitenschiff benannt nach dem Millstätter Hochmeister des Georg-Ritter-Ordenens Johann Siebenhirter († 1508), dem Stifter. Das Bild zeigt das untere Gemälde des linken Flügels. Die Darstellung zeigt den ungläubigen Thomas. Links im Eck knieend der Stifter des Alters Johann Siebenhirter, daneben sein Familienwappen. Der Altar wird einem unbekannten „Meister von Lieseregg“ zugeschrieben. Einmalig in Kärnten ist die groteske Darstellung der Figuren. Während die Gesichter einheitlich, eher schmal in gleicher Größe dargestellt sind, entsprechen die körperlichen Proportionen und die Haltung nicht der natürlichen Anatomie.
English: Altar of Lieseregg in the community of Seeboden / Spittal an der Drau / Carinthia / Austria / EU. The picture shows the lower picture of the left wing. The display shows the Doubting Thomas. On the left side in the corner the founder of the altar Johann Siebenhirter kneeling, with his family coat of arms. The altar is attributed to an unknown "Master of Lieseregg. Unique in Carinthia is a grotesque representation of the figures. While the faces uniformly, are rather narrow, presented in the same size, corresponding to physical proportions and the attitude is not the natural anatomy.
