Summary edit

Description
English: Fanciful cartoon from 1911 imagining tourism in Ancient Egypt.

People dressed in caricatured Ancient Egyptian attire with some early 20th century touches - plus a visiting Classical Roman - are in a barge that looks like an open tour bus, labeled "SEEING the NILE Barge Co." In the background are the great pyramids. At left a woman holds a megaphone to her mouth, presumably narrating the tour.

Figures in front seat are scantily clad man and women with driving goggles, the man operating a steering wheel like those seen on 1911 automobiles.
