English: View from the south of the primary mound at the Lilbourn Fortified Village, once a Mississippian village located immediately northwest of the junction of U.S. Routes 61/62 and County Road 502 southwest of New Madrid in New Madrid Township, New Madrid County, Missouri, United States. As a major archaeological site, the village is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
