| Description |
English: Linford Bog from Goff's Bridge, New Forest Looking along the edge of Linford Bog, with the tree-lined Dockens Water on the right. This bog lies between the Digden Bottom slopes of Ibsley Common and the stream - at this time of year it is very moist and springy, although it can dry out somewhat in the summer. Two "footpaths" from the common converge here to cross Dockens Water using Goff's Bridge (name taken from Heywood Sumner's sketch map of 1923). In the far distance the conifers of Hasley Inclosure on Hasley Hill can be seen. |
