English: Linford Brook at Green Ford, New Forest. Greenford Bottom is a clear area alongside Linford Brook, surrounded by woodland and inclosures. The Green Ford is more than a simple ford - walkers no longer have to get their feet wet thanks to a sturdy footbridge and causeway. The brook runs fast and deep here in the winter, although going by this geograph - 63785 - it sometimes runs dry in the summer. |
