| Description |
The small pots I bought contained (here: an older plant) individual lithops, growing just at the positions where a handsweep placed the seeds. They looked overcrowded, so i took them apart to give them space. The soil in the selling pots was almost pure turf, I don't think that is the right thing for lithops. First thing is the right soil, I chose 1/2 clay granulate, 1/4 sand and 1/4 standard turf-based potting soil. It is just my standard mixture for cactuses (recommended by the german wikipedia cactus page) Most other Lithops growers use sand only. |
