English: Little Gruinard River looking towards Beinn-a Chaisgein-Beag. This area is the start of wilderness country in the heart of Letterewe Estates and Fisherfield Forest. There are no trees in Fisherfield Forest now,but was home to a large Scots Pine forest some 200 years ago. Many tree roots are visible in the peat bogs. |
