| Description |
English: Liverpool Street Underground Station, 17 February 2023. The sub-surface station was opened in 1875 by the Metropolitan Railway, initially named Bishopsgate, renamed Liverpool Street in 1909. It is now served by the Metropolitan Line, Hammersmith & City Line, Circle Line and, in a linked tube station, the Central Line. There is one entrance within the Network Rail station and another separate street entrance specific to the Underground lines. |
