Description
Català: Lletra capitular historiada amb l'escena de l'alliberació de sant Pere per l'àngel, segle XVI, tècnica mixta sobre pergamí, 328 x326 mm. Museu de la Ciutat, València. Aquesta lletra M, de grafia gòtica, degué pertànyer a un cantoral. L'escena representa a l'apòstol Pere en el moment de la seua alliberació per l'àngel de la presó on l'havia tancat Herodes. La lletra està decorada amb fulles d'acant, una gran gemma tallada en el segell i diversos caboixons distribuïts per tota la grafia. Les pedres precioses es relacionen amb sant Pere que com a cap visible de l'església manté una relació privilegiada amb Déu.
