| Description |
English: Stained glass windows in the Locherer Family Chapel in the Freiburg Minster, donated by the cleric Nikolaus Locherer and his relatives. Copy by Fritz Geiges from ca. 1920 after the original, which was produced in 1520 in Freiburg using designs presumably by Hans Baldung and is kept today in Freiburg's Augustinermuseum.
The windows portray the patron saints of the donor family: from left to right, Anthony the Great, Bernard of Clairvaux, John the Evangelist, and Martin of Tours. Deutsch: Glasfenster der Locherer Kapelle im Freiburger Münster, vom Kleriker Nikolaus Locherer und seinen Angehörigen 1520 gestiftet. Nachbildung von Fritz Geiges um 1920 nach einem Original, das 1520 vermutlich nach Entwürfen von Hans Baldung in Freiburg hergestellt wurde und sich heute im dortigen Augustinermuseum befindet. "Auf den Bildern sind die Patrone der Stifterfamilie dargestellt, von links die hll. Antonius, Bernhard von Clairvaux, der Evangelist Johannes und der hl. Martin von Tours.... Die zwei Bahnen des linken und rechten Fensters sind jeweils durch eine zusammenhängende Landschaft mit einem tiefblauen Himmel verbunden.
