English: William Hakvaag (born 1948), founder and director of Lofoten War Memorial Museum in Svolvær, Norway, displaying a sail crafted post-World War II using remnants from the German army.
  • In his World War II museum, Hakvaag showcases a small sail, created by using provision bags (food supply sacks) from Wehrmacht Heeresverpflegung / Heeres-Verpflegung, "Wehrmacht Army Provisions". The canvas is imprinted with H. Vpfl. 1936 and H.Vpfl. 1943 and marked with the coat of arms of Nazi Germany, the national eagle-and-swastika emblem.
  • The photo was taken on February 24, 2022. The person depicted gave verbal permission on the same day to publish the photo for free reuse in the Wikimedia Commons database.

Vpfl. 1936 og H.Vpfl. 1943 og merket med nazi-Tysklands riksvåpen (hakekorsørn)
  • Bildet ble tatt 24. februar 2022. Personen på fotografiet ga muntlig tillatelse samme dag til å publisere bildet til fri gjenbruk i databasen Wikimedia Commons.
