Summary edit

Description
English: When the last standard-gauge steam locomotives of Austria's rails were banished in 1976, the series delivery of one of the most well-known locomotive series, the ÖBB 1044, began. With its characteristic fan noise, it can be heard from afar. And that's exactly what gave her some nicknames. Among other things, it was (and will) be named as "Austrian Alpine vacuum cleaner".
