| Description | Cromwell Road The Victoria & Albert Museum (The V&A) is the world's largest museum of decorative arts and design. The Museum was officially opened in June 1857 as the "South Kensington Museum". Many additions to the original building have been built from the 1860s to the first decade of the 20th-Century in many different styles and was criticised for being too plainly decorated. Henry Cole's original Refreshment Room, "The Gamble Room" with contemporary designed ceiling chandelier. |
