The UK has been working hard for a safer and more secure future for people in Afghanistan. More than 5,000 hectares of land has been cleared of mines, which has benefited over 130,000 families. The London Conference on Afghanistan on 4 December will bring together the government of Afghanistan and the international community in support of a secure and stable Afghan Future.
