| Description |
English: Long Clawson Methodist Church and Manse. Methodism was introduced into Long Clawson in the late 1790s. The first chapel was built in 1801 633336. As the congregation grew the chapel became too small and in 1840 a new chapel was built on the present site at a cost of £1100. The Manse was built alongside the chapel in 1887. In 1954 the chapel burnt down but within weeks a committee was formed to raise funds for a replacement, with the foundation stone for the new building being laid in 1955 and the new chapel opened in 1956.
