| Description |
English: Lording's Bridge, Wey and Arun Canal. Recent renovation work has seen this section of the old canal become navigable again - but it is still unconnected to other navigable stretches. The bridge was rebuilt in 2002 following the design of Josiah Jessop's original bridge. The lock behind the bridge was a rare turf-sided lock. There are flood gates nearby too which channel surplus canal water into the River Arun. |
