English: Loscoe Dam. A pleasant spot for fishing and birdwatching. See also 191143 for more information. Some time ago, hundreds of roach were found dead in the dam, the cause of which had not been identified as of 22-6-06. See http://www.ripleytoday.co.uk/ViewArticle2.aspx?sectionid=797&articleid=1580523 Loscoe Dam is neatly bisected by the gridline, with the trees at the far side being in SK4248.
