Description Lot-1863-13: Homefront, WWII. Jacksonville, Florida, April 1942. W.S. Neal, age 70, came out of retirement to work in the blacksmith shop. He is shown forging a part to be used in the construction of a Navy mine sweeper. Mr. Neal has three grand-daughters and a son in the war industry. “Why should I sit by at the age of 70 when there’s work to do?” he asks.
