Description Lot 11602-9: Persian Corridor – British and American Lend-Lease supplies transferred to the Soviet Union during World War II. Virgil M. Hone picked up a mascot for his fleet of trucks somewhere in the Persian Corridor with a U.S. Army convoy carrying supplies for the aid of Russia. The pup has been named G.I. John.
