Deutsch: Eine von 21 Kaiserfiguren, die ursprünglich 1602 und 1649 als Bauschmuck eines Anbaus des Alten Rathauses von Hamburg geschaffen wurden. Nachdem das Rathaus 1842 beim Großen Brand zerstört wurde, wurden 20 Statuen beim Neubau des MHG (1913 - 1922) in der Nordfassade platziert. Heute befinden sich noch 14 Figuren in der Fassade. Die anderen sechs mußten nach Kriegsschäden entfernt werden. Die Statue "Lothar von Sachsen" steht in der unteren Reihe an dritter Stelle von links (vom Betrachter aus gesehen). |
